Have been bz baking baking n BAKING @ home these pass few days....=p Have been trying recipes making chocolate cake for some1 lo....(as i've promised...) but dunno y...haiz...still didn't manage to get the type of texture tht is suitable to spread cream on it...the chocolate cakes i've baked are either too dense or too light to support cream on it...haiz...see...this is the 1 i've baked recently...it's juz a chocolate sponge..haiz..dun tink it's nice enuff lar..still working on it, H, be patient k...

Then, doing some baked curry puff for project 1 nxt sem so testing out a recipe i found on net recently...due to lack of experience, the skin i made is too thick n the filling...erm...the cheese turn out to harden the next day n it's no longer oozing out as i expected...haiz...but the banana chocolate 1 turn out to be quite successful wor...sori guys...i think it's because i pop them into microwave tht morning b4 bringing them to sch for u guys to try so they turn out to be too hard le...guess i'll hafta try again nxt time..any new ideas for the curry puffs' filling? Every1 pls feel free to post it in my chat box!!! =p

ok..nxt...i found a website created by this auntie : http://happyhomebaking.blogspot.com/ She does really good muffins n cakes i MUST say!!! =p How i noe? I TRY HER RECIPES MYSELF!!! N....they were successful!!! SEEEEEEE!!!! This strawberry banana muffin was baked yesterday!!

N..today....guess wad i baked?!!! Orange, apple, pomelo yoghurt pound cake!!! =p It's juz simply delicious!!! I was SOOOOO HAPPI tht the cake dried up in the middle (becos for my past few attempts....my cakes didn't actualli dry up in the middle n turn out to be "kuih" instead of cake =p)

Well...i guess i hafta let my oven rest for a while of the wire will fray again!!! haha...maybe another 2 days...i'm gonna make durian muffins!!! Interested? Wait for my nxt post lor!!! =p

Here to record down the day we went to the chalet...Hmm...Well...actually was really looking 4ward to it de...was sooo excited about my 1st chalet wif FS0703...expected it to be as fun or even more fun than my previous chalets....well...it didn't turn out as well at 1st cos some ppl juz dun seem as enthu as a part of us...they juz think about the $$$ they hafta fork out so Ber had to kp saving cost and this led to the booking of a really rundown chalet, i would say...

Yunxuan's parents were REAL nice! They sponsored our dinner for the 1st nite which was steamboat!!! Her parents bought 3 big containers of steamboat foodies n a big tub of soup...they even drove all this thingy n the steamboat "machine" rite to our chalet's doorstep! Wow!! They're the most enthu parents i've ever seen in participating chalets... ^^

Well...we had a hard time getting to the ulu chalet in the 1st place....then when we finally reach aloha, we found tht ms wp's ic was nt enuff for uus to check in...they need my ic too!!! Haiz...becos i'm too scattered-brain so my mum had to kp my ic for me..so...I DIDN'T BRING!!! ....... In the end, we still hafta ma fan Yunxuan's dad to check in for us....

The moment we step into the chalet...OMG...we were scared by the mirror that is standing rite in front of us...we can see ourselves starring rite into our faces!!! Isn't tht eerie? The place wasn't as big as we expected n the kitchen's crawling with huge, enormous, gigantic ants...We then realise the plates, mugs n bowls they provided are unusable!!! Me n Lijuan spent a hard time washing it wif....our hands...-_-"' Yes...our hands!! No sponge!!!

After the washing, we sat down to haf a few rounds of tiny mahjong..haha...my 3rd time playing mahjong in my entire life...but becos everi1's so down tht i didn't really enjoy the mahjong n became bored after playing for a while...so i volunteered to go fetch those ppl coming in..me n hui en walked to white sands becos the pathetic shuttle bus only comes 1 in an hour...-_-"'
After picking belinda up, we had steamboat for our dinner..then head for cheers @ downtown east to buy...ALCOHOL!!! @ the entrance of aloha, we saw binglin in a cab after his long day work with a bagful of sushi!! So he join us on our walk to downtown east...by the time we reach there cheers' alr closing!!! I was lyk...erm..."isn't cheers 24 hr shop?" haiz...the ans' "NO" obviously...so i suggested tht we walk to White sands de 7-11 to buy...n it's actually another 10 mins walk only n Binglin suggested we tk bus...haiz...no choice...juz hafta waste $0.90....

In the end, we still didn't get our alcohol cos it's twice the price of ntuc!!! So we decided to buy it the 2nd day...by the time we gt back it's lyk 11.30pm le...all of us rush to bathe...by the time i gt to bathe it's past 12am le...n....our RESULTS ARE OUT!!! So exciting!!! Gt to noe results in a chalet!!! haha =p interesting...Was quite nervous 'bout the result thingy cos still broading over the 11 marks lost in mbfs n scared tht i can't go on to 2nd part of the yr...but heng ar....=p

After noeing our results, we chatted throughout the nite...about a lotsa things lah...esp the feeling of discussing answers after coming out fr exam hall...i noe...cos i've been thru b4...evry1 is talking about the same answer n my answer is always the odd 1 out in jc...i understand...i really felt terrible...

Then, we played a bit of mahjong...till 5.30am then we went out to see sun rise (which didn't really show itself up lah...) After a while...we went strolling then went back to haf breakfast...weimun had to go 1st cos gt wedding..(nt him lah...=p) the afternoon was quite bored..nth to do except perhaps the cycling part....we cycled to 2 ends of pasir park...the ride wasn't as enjoyable as those i've ride in ecp on my last chalet....here's shorter n narrower...sianz...nt enuff for me...haiz...
Soon...evening came...me n melina went fruit buying as this was ms wp's "order"...haha =p by the time we came back they alr started the fire gg...satays, chicken wings, chicken chops were being served...ms wp's order again: " MUZ peel off the chicken skin ar...!!!" haha...she sounds lyk my mum lea!!! =p Everything went quite smoothly in the bbq...more ppl came...patrick, desheng, anna, lizhi...etc....quite fun lah...but i was quite tired after a whole nite w/o slp so wasn't quite in the right state of mind =p so decided to go home tht nite...gt desheng mah..haha =p...@ least gt some1 to go home (serangoon) with me mah...=p

Hihi! I'm so happi! I'm finalli going on a vacation! To JAPAN!!!! OMG!!! Can't believe my luck! Mummy went to book tix today...Confirmed setting off on 7th Oct le! Thought they were juz entertaining me when they said that they will bring me to Jpn but NO! It's all so TRUE! Will be setting off on 7th Oct and juz nice, by the time i come back sch reopens...Can't express how excited i am now...guess i will have another slpless nite ba..
Well..everything's turning out fine for me now! Everything's juz too good to be true! Chalet's coming up in a week's time..kbox with aeng...mooncake fest coming too! So many activities! My hols are packed le..no longer moaning "I AM BORED!" but " I AM HAPPY!!!" haha =p
Dunno wad to write liao..but will post as many pics as possible after my trip on 7th Oct...Will try my best to keep my blog up to date..cya guys @ aloha loyang! Nitez! =p

Hi all...Here i am..bored..the sixth day since my last exam paper: microobiology...still groaning over the 11 marks i've lost...haiz..careless mistake..how could ihave calculated the growth rate wrongly!!! OMG! Nvm...it's over le anyway...
Now..I feel so trapped..have gain n lost my freedom at the same time...Perhaps u wun understand wad i'm saying rite now..but if u were to be trapped in a small room with nth much to do all day u would understand how i feel now...After exam the days are lyk aimless...do everything w/o motive to live for..nw finding sth...the meaning of life...sometimes i would really wonder y are we in this world? Juz to study n get good grades so as to survive? Or juz to be mummy's child till u grow old? OMG...Wad am i talking bout...sorry..pardon me...juz get too bored so talk rubbish....please do ignore me...
Well..guess my next aim in life is to find a suitable recipe for Huat's chocolate cake...=p Dunno y he suddenly wanna bake cake...weird...experimented on a recipe 3days ago..haiz...failed cos the batter's too watery n the "cake" couldn't dry in the middle so it turn out to become some chocolate kuih talam...haha..
If u are reading ,Huat, dun worry...i'll find out the most suitable recipe for u asap kk?! Wait for my good news!! =p Happi Hols to all...! =)
